He started to enter the doorway to the bedroom and noticed the blood and brains that were splattered on the wall. “Whoa, someone was having a bad day!” he commented to himself.Īs he turned the corner he had to make passage to get the gurney through, “Coming through!” He wheeled the gurney in the direction the man had pointed almost relieved to be leaving whatever it was he’d walked into. “Right,” Harris managed to say, wading through his shock, “bedroom down the hall, I’m on it.” “Bedroom down the hall, man,” the man said, “you can’t help this one. “What?” Harris couldn’t pull his eyes away from the body that was hanging from the ceiling fan. “I think you want the bedroom down the hall,” a man in a white suit that covered him head to toe had turned from what he was doing and tried to send Harris on his way. Harris stood in the doorway to the bedroom for just a minute trying to make sense of it all.
